Wimborne History Festival on camera!

With blue skies, sunshine and a wide variety of displays and activities to photograph, our wonderful volunteers from Wimborne Camera Club, and local photographer Andrew Chorley, were once again able to take a host of fantastic images for us.

With so many fabulous pictures available we have put the photos into groups/categories, so please click on the links below to get a flavour of what was on offer at each of the sites, plus of course our acclaimed Silent Soldiers, WW1 Nurses and Suffragettes.

Our sincere and grateful thanks to all of the History Festival Photographic Team who gave up their time to compile these amazing images.

The Festival would also like to thank Wimborne MovieMakers who were on site over the Festival weekend to record the colour, atmosphere, events and activities – we look forward to seeing the results of their work.

Photographs of the first Wimborne History Festival are still available in  2016 Gallery One and 2016 Gallery Two, with a selection of special wide angle shots in the 2016 Panorama Gallery.
